About This Class

This class is built around the philosophy of gradual, non-forceful entry into physical effort — the instructor repeatedly emphasizes that intensity should arrive unnoticed, like a slow tide. The practice opens supine with baddha konasana, a gentle spinal twist, and bridge pose before moving into shoulderstand and plow as an early inversion sequence. From there the class transitions through spread-leg forward folds (seated, standing, and reclining variations), a methodically taught sun-salutation flow (downward dog, plank, cobra, standing forward fold, crescent lunge), and a rich standing sequence on each side featuring warrior/hero pose, extended side angle, triangle, half-moon-style balancing, and a twisted airplane variation. Deep hip work includes frog pose (bhekasana-style) held for a long duration, pigeon-style figure-four supine stretches, and a supported camel/saddle variation. The class closes with reclining leg stretches, reclined spinal twists, a seated breath-naturalizing meditation, and a full savasana anchored by a gratitude practice. Throughout, the instructor frames every pose as a "sensuous stroke" — prioritising breath quality, moderate depth, and present-moment awareness over achievement or depth.

Chill flow that still gently challenges. Love & gratitude!
