About This Class

This energizing flow class guides students through a full-body stretch-and-release sequence designed to build both strength and mobility. The class opens seated with Kapalabhati breathwork to ignite energy, then moves into block-elevated Downward Dog to open the upper back, followed by creative plank-based core work with knee-to-elbow oblique twists and extended leg variations. A rich standing sequence progresses through Tree Pose, Chair Pose, Crescent/High Lunge, Warrior Two, Reverse Warrior, Triangle, and Fallen Triangle, each side explored twice with increasing complexity. Unique transitions include a side-plank-to-tree-pose combo and low-lunge hip-flexor and psoas stretches. The instructor frames the practice around "releasing" rather than just stretching, cuing students to let go of what they don't need. The floor sequence closes with Forearm Plank, chest-opening prone arm rolls to reverse gravity's effects on the shoulders, Bow Pose variations, Pigeon on both sides, Janu Sirsasana, Baddha Konasana, and a final seated forward fold before Savasana. Blocks are optional throughout and used creatively rather than as strict supports.

It’s a good strong class! Some of the poses were novel to me and I really enjoyed them. I could not always follow the instructions hence one less star, but otherwise am sure I will come back to this class again!

Wow that was amazing! Some work, some strength but what a delicious flow and practice. Time flew by. Blocks were a fun and different addition but totally doable without. Thank you Byron! Good one!
