About This Class

This hour-long flow class is built around an unwavering commitment to the breath as the foundation of every shape. Beginning in Child's Pose, the instructor guides students through progressive Sun Salutation-style sequences — high plank, Chaturanga, Cobra/Upward Dog, Downward Dog — before layering in standing standing poses including Crescent, Warrior Two, Extended Side Angle, and Reverse Warrior on both sides. Balancing challenges escalate through Twisted Half Moon, Airplane, Warrior Three, and one-legged Tadasana with the extended leg, testing strength and proprioception. The floor sequence introduces Bird-Dog-style core work (opposite limb lifts with knee-to-tricep pulses and bow-grip backbends), Locust Pose, Bow Pose, Boat and Low Boat with flutter kicks, and a Happy Baby cool-down. Supine twists and Savasana round out the class with deep release and a brief seated meditation. Throughout, the instructor frames breath as the non-negotiable constant — "give up the pose, keep the breath" — and explicitly offers modifications (knees down, skipping flows, keeping a foot grounded) so every level can participate. The tone is warm, philosophical, and encouraging, weaving spiritual reflection into physical cues to cultivate both outer strength and inner stillness.

This is a very nice, well-balanced flow class that works up a nice sweat. Thanks as always Temitope!
