About This Class

This ambitious, methodically structured flow class builds intensity through a signature "add one" approach: each sequence returns to the same foundation and adds a new pose, so practitioners progressively move from chair pose to crescent lunge twist, to warrior one, to warrior two, to reverse warrior, to extended side angle, to triangle, to half moon, and finally to standing splits and twisting half moon — all on both sides. The class opens with breath awareness in child's pose and a table-top warm-up (bird-dog, cat-cow), then moves through sun salutation B variations that train core engagement for step-throughs. Standing balance, twisting, and hip-opening work is woven throughout, including crow pose, dolphin, forearm plank, and pigeon. A dedicated backbend sequence covers locust, cobra, and bow pose before finishing with plow, shoulder stand, a seated forward fold series, boat pose with lowering reps, bridge, happy baby, and a full savasana. The instructor repeatedly frames the breath as the engine of the practice and encourages non-attachment, non-judgment, and mindfulness throughout.

Wow! What a challenge! This kind of intensive training is exactly what I needed today! I enjoyed the smooth deepening of the twists with the addition of balances. A very unusual and cool practice! Thank you!

I loved everything about this practice! “Add one” has a great steady pace, slowly building onto each sequence, which makes for a fast, sweaty but totally manageable 90 minutes! I started moving right away and just kept moving and breathing until the end. Definitely a top favorite, thank you!
