About This Class
This one-hour vigorous flow with Bryan Kest takes students through a carefully layered warm-up and progressively more demanding sequences built around a core sun-salutation structure (downward dog, plank, cobra, forward fold, standing). The class weaves in crescent lunges, warrior-style standing poses, wide-legged forward folds, deep hip openers, twists, camel pose, tabletop/bridge variations, core leg-lift work, shoulderstand, plow, and supine twists — finishing in a long savasana with a gratitude meditation. Throughout, Bryan frames every pose as a gentle, personal inquiry — "a massage" — encouraging students to back off, modify, or skip anything that doesn't feel right. Breath awareness (deep nasal breathing synchronized with five-second inhales and exhales) is the constant thread, positioning the practice as simultaneously physically comprehensive and deeply mindful. The class suits people who want to build strength and flexibility together, decompress the spine, release tension from the hips, hamstrings, and shoulders, and shift mental state through movement and breath.
