About This Class
Led by Rudy Mettia, "Squeeze It!" is a punchy one-hour dynamic flow that opens on the floor with supine hip-opening (thread the needle, half happy baby) before introducing a block-squeezing adductor and core series that targets the inner thighs and lower abdominals in a creative, functional way. From there, the class transitions through sphinx, cobra, downward facing dog, and plank into a methodical standing sequence featuring low lunges, crescent, prayer twist, Warrior Two, side angle, Warrior One, twisting triangle, standing splits, triangle pose, and side plank — all repeated on both sides. Rudy weaves in frequent Vinyasas to link segments and "clean the slate," while consistently cueing adductor engagement, hip-midline stability, knee alignment, and the cultivation of posterior-chain (go-muscle) strength. Accessible modifications — knees down, block use, forearm options — are offered throughout. The class closes with supine jackknife core holds, spinal twists, happy baby, and a full Savasana. Rudy's coaching tone blends technical alignment cues with philosophy, humor, and encouragement, making a challenging class feel energizing and approachable.

Thank you Rudy. I REALLY like this class; the cueing, the vocabulary, the directness, the humility when 2 positions were missed (and then completed) – strong and refreshing. A favorite!
