About This Class
Bryan Kest leads a full-bodied, breath-first flow that frames every pose as a moving meditation. The class opens in Child's Pose with an extended focus on deep nasal breathing before moving through a progressive warm-up: Downward Facing Dog, Bird-Dog extensions, Cobra, and a rhythmic Sun Salutation-style vinyasa repeated several times to build heat. Standing sequences include Warrior I, Extended Side Angle, Reverse Warrior, and a demanding Balancing Lunge, each with rich counter-directional engagement cues (knee forward, hand back; groin down, chest up). Deep hip-opening Pigeon-style poses on both sides address the glutes, hip joint, and femur. The floor series includes Locust, Bow Pose, core scissor legs, Plow, and Shoulder Stand — framed as gravity-reversing and deeply potent. Spinal twists in both standing and supine forms are woven throughout. The class closes with a guided gratitude meditation in a comfortable seated position followed by Savasana. Bryan consistently encourages self-moderation, body listening, and a buffet-style approach to intensity, making the practice accessible even at a vigorous pace.

Liked this one but I think it’s more “active” than “robust”
