About This Class

This full-body vinyasa flow opens with forward folds, downward facing dog, and plank progressions to warm the spine and shoulders before moving through three rounds of Surya Namaskar A. The standing series builds progressively: crescent pose, Warrior One, Warrior Two, reverse warrior, side angle pose, triangle, half moon, and standing splits are all visited on both sides, with the instructor layering in binds, twists (chair twist, revolved variations), and optional arm balances including crow pose and one-legged crow transitions. Side plank and forearm plank introduce core endurance work, while dolphin and its single-leg variations load the shoulders and hamstrings. A backbend block features locust-style lifts, full bow pose (Dhanurasana), cobra, and wheel (Urdhva Dhanurasana) or bridge as options. The floor cool-down moves through wide-legged forward fold, boat pose (Navasana), seated forward fold, happy baby, supine pigeon (figure-four), wide-leg supine stretch, plow pose, and shoulderstand before spinal twists and a long Savasana. Throughout, the instructor emphasises breath as the primary tool for both strength and flexibility, mindfulness over achievement, and the value of rest.

What a gem of a practice! Probably one of the fastest 90 minutes you’ll find, with Byron building strong, fun sequences out of simple movements and poses. This one will leave you sweaty and happy – thank you!

Wowza! Shazam! Amazing! My daughter, Maria, suggested Byron’s practice, describing his classes as being “out of the box”. I clearly felt my humanity, while attempting to support it with Intelligence and moderation of ego. Thank you, Byron.
