About This Class

Bryan Kest leads a full-body dynamic flow that opens with child's pose and breath-setting before building through multiple rounds of sun-salutation-style sequences—downward facing dog, cobra, crescent lunge, plank, and chair pose—layered with increasingly demanding variations including one-handed down dog, "awkward airplane" balances, and bow-pose explorations. The class emphasizes deep, fluid nasal breathing as the primary self-regulating tool, encouraging practitioners to personalize every pose rather than force depth. Side-body stretching, shoulder openers, wrist counter-poses (hands under feet), bound-angle/butterfly, hip bridge, and a boat-pose spinal twist round out the physical practice. The class closes with a guided gratitude meditation in seated stillness followed by savasana, framing the entire session as mindfulness practice disguised as movement.
