About This Class
This nearly 100-minute class opens in child's pose and builds slowly through a foundational sun-salutation-style flow (downward dog, cobra, plank, chaturanga) before expanding into standing lunges, warriors, twists, side-angle poses, and deep hip openers like pigeon. Bryan Kest's signature philosophy runs throughout: nose breathing, personal boundaries, calmness as a non-negotiable, and the instruction to pick and choose what serves you. The second half layers in more intensity — knee-to-elbow core work in down dog, balance challenges, shoulder stretches, quad and hip flexor work in low lunge, seated forward folds, boat pose variations with twists, a plow/shoulderstand sequence, and supine spinal twists — before arriving at a seated gratitude meditation and a long savasana. The class is framed as both physical maintenance and mental training, making it equally suited to those seeking mobility, stress relief, or a moving meditation.
