About This Class

This premier Power Yoga Online class with Bryan Kest is a sweeping, 102-minute vigorous flow that begins in child's pose with an extended introduction to nasal breathing and mindful attention before building through multiple rounds of a sun-salutation-style warm-up (cobra, plank, downward-facing dog, standing forward fold, squat-to-standing). The sequence progresses through one-legged standing balances that evolve from airplane arms into standing hand-to-big-toe pose, half-moon-style balancing, and single-leg forward folds. Lunges appear repeatedly, developing into crescent pose with backbend variations, twisted lunges (core twist), and low forearm lunge. Side plank is cued on both sides. Floor work includes locust bow-hold variations, a sustained bow pose, and supine core work (leg-lowering with head lifts). Shoulder-stand / legs-up inversions and a plow-like transition follow, leading into wide-leg seated forward fold, single-leg forward fold variations, and supine spinal twists before a final savasana. Throughout, Bryan frames the practice as healing, meditative self-care — not performance — repeatedly inviting students to modify, rest in child's pose, or drop a knee. The class suits experienced practitioners who want a complete, full-body flow grounded in mindfulness, and is equally accessible to those willing to listen to their bodies and use modifications.
