About This Class
This class opens in child's pose with an extended foundation-setting on deep nasal breathing and present-moment focus, then builds into a repeating vinyasa flow — down dog, cobra, plank, standing forward fold, and crescent lunge — layered progressively over the session. Signature sequences include three-legged dog with knee-to-elbow and knee-to-forehead variations, lizard/low lunge with elbows-to-floor hip opening, locust and full bow (dhanurasana) to strengthen the posterior chain, and a seated wide-leg forward fold with lateral splits to each side. The floor sequence closes with core work (scissor legs/navasana-inspired holds), a plow/halasana transition into shoulderstand, supine spinal twists, and a final savasana. Throughout, Bryan frames the practice as a mental training tool — emphasizing breath as the anchor of mindfulness, moderation over ambition, and self-directed intensity. The class suits students seeking a thorough, balanced full-body flow that pairs physical maintenance with a calming, meditative quality.
