About This Class

Bryan Kest leads this unhurried yet genuinely demanding flow that opens in child's pose with an extended emphasis on deep, fluid nasal breathing before building into a repeating sun-salutation-style vinyasa (down dog → standing forward fold → cobra → down dog). From there the class moves through two full sides of a layered standing sequence: three-legged dog variations, low-lunge hip openers with forearms toward the floor, twisted lunge, crescent lunge, warrior two (hero pose), bound side-angle, twisting triangle, and full triangle with extended arm reaches. A shoulder-opening theme runs throughout, including eagle-arm-style clasps, hands-behind-back forward folds, and creative arm-wrapping in side angle. Upper-body strength is built through slow lower-downs (chin-to-floor push-up variations) and plank holds. The class closes with supine spinal twists on both sides, knees-to-chest, and a full savasana. Bryan frames every pose as an invitation to self-care and present-moment awareness, repeatedly cuing students to back off, take breaks, and honor what they actually feel rather than chasing aesthetics or depth.

Good shoulder strength and twists sequence. Could have used a bit more flow to warm up.

Bryan is the best the best the best human and yoga teacher I’ve ever met! Im dealing with inner ear dizziness and am working with yoga to help it. His constant reminders to modify and pay attention to where your body is has helped me strengthen my humility muscle. I did the class today and felt better than I have in two weeks. Thank you??
