About This Class
Bryan Kest leads a slow-to-moderate flow class rooted in deep breathing, meditative focus, and tuning into the body's moment-to-moment "mood." The class opens in child's pose and down dog before building warmth through a repeated cobra-to-plank sequence, locust/bow variations, and a classic standing flow. Hip flexors and hip rotators are targeted extensively through low lunges, pigeon-style hip openers (elbows-to-floor), and a bound side-angle/extended triangle sequence. Hamstrings and the full back line are addressed via standing forward folds and cobra holds. Core and upper-body strength are woven in through plank holds, push-up variations ("chin-to-floor"), and a knee-to-tricep crow-prep drill. The class finishes with a floor-based cool-down: butterfly, reverse tabletop, boat pose with twists, supine spinal twists, and a long Savasana. Throughout, Bryan consistently cues students to back off aggression, honor their personal range of motion, and let the breath guide intensity — making the class equally accessible to those recovering from tightness or seeking mobility work as to those wanting a gentle full-body challenge.
