About This Class
This dynamic 80-minute morning flow class with Andres Salcedo opens gently in child's pose and Vajrasana before progressing through table-top balance and bow variations, Ujjayi-breath-driven Chaturanga-to-Upward Dog-to-Downward Dog transitions, and multiple rounds of Sun Salutation A and B (including Warrior I). The middle portion of the class moves into a rich standing sequence featuring Warrior II, side-angle pose variations with bound arm options, horse stance twists, Prasarita Padottanasana forward fold, Triangle, Extended Side Angle, Half Moon (Ardha Chandrasana) and Chapasana, and side planks with quad stretches. Hip-opening highlights include deep low lunges with forearm variations, pigeon pose, seated figure-four and double-pigeon (Agnistambhasana), and malasana-based twists. The class also weaves in crescent-lunge balancing with figure-four chair and standing half-lotus, yogi push-up sets, a 54-repetition bicycle-crunch core series, bridge pose (with an invitation to wheel), happy baby, legs-up/plow, and shoulder stand inversions. The session closes with supine twists and Savasana. Throughout, Andres frames each posture around two qualities — comfort and attentiveness — and invites practitioners to treat the practice as a moving meditation, making it equally suited to building strength and flexibility as to cultivating focus and a grounded, energized state for the day ahead.

Perfect class for an early Sunday morning during a snowstorm in WI. Built a fire, rolled out my mat, had zero distractions. The fire was roaring during your beautiful singing mantra savasana. I have never been so ready for my day. Thank you, your are so appreciated

The music before and after the practice is worth the work and effort in the middle 🙂

Excellent for a little challenge, complete, I love the forward bending, and balances, just enough twists, too – a perfect class.
