About This Class
Bryan Kest leads a 71-minute dynamic flow styled as a "yoga buffet," inviting students to take only what serves them. The class opens in Child's Pose with breath-focused meditation before building through three distinct warm-up sequences of increasing complexity. The first establishes a foundational sun-salutation pattern (Down Dog, Cobra, Plank-to-floor push-up). The second adds Chair Pose (squat and reach) and Crescent Lunge. The third — described as a complete routine on its own — layers in three-legged Dog, standing side bends, Warrior-flow twists, low lizard (forearms inside the front foot), one-legged Plank with knee-to-tricep, and lateral side-plank variations with a bound quad stretch. The mid-section features hip-opening holds (lizard/low lunge with optional deep hip exploration), a Reclined Hero/Saddle sequence for the quadriceps, and a tabletop bridge. Core work includes straight-leg lowering, seated oblique rotations, and a balancing boat-like hold. The class closes with supine spinal twists, a rocking massage up the spine to seated, and an extended Savasana anchored by a guided gratitude meditation. Throughout, Bryan consistently frames the practice around gentleness, breath synchronisation, mindfulness, and self-care over performance, explicitly discouraging ego-driven depth-seeking and encouraging modification at every turn.

This was a lovely class! A nice challenging sequence (aptly named) is always made extra sweet by the addition of a a little gratitude meditation. Thank you, Mateo, and Melissa for sharing your practice with us, and thank you, Bryan, for your exceptional guidance. Namaste, dear ones
