About This Class
Rudy Mettia guides this energetic, well-rounded flow that lives up to its "Mixed Bag" title. The class opens standing — skipping the usual child's pose start — with a forward-fold warm-up and downward dog before moving through sun salutations and a detailed warrior series on each side. Highlights include Warrior Two with revolving side-angle variations, triangle, half moon with an elegant standing transition, standing balance work (hand-to-big-toe, Virabhadrasana three, standing split), a unique twisted lunge sequence, pigeon pose, and optional wild thing/flip-dog. The floor segment features table-top bird-dog with a quad stretch, cat-cow, camel (kneeling backbend), seated forward folds, supine spinal twists, and a closing happy baby before Savasana. Rudy weaves in biomechanical coaching, breath-awareness cues about oxygen saturation, subtle Tai-Chi-like refinements, and frequent modifications, making the class accessible while still challenging.

a great comprehensive class – thank you. A gentle reminder that those of us at home have no idea where ‘second street’ or ‘the ocean’ or anywhere else is so those local references are not useful for us. I worked it out and loved the class
