About This Class

Bryan Kest leads a full-body, all-levels flow built around one deceptively simple principle: breathe deeply and move honestly. Starting in Child's Pose to establish nasal breathing and mental quiet, the class flows through Down Dog, Cobra, standing balance sequences (Warrior III / airplane variations), deep hip openers, Hanumanasana (splits) on both sides, Bow Pose (Dhanurasana), and an extended Shoulderstand (Sarvangasana) followed by Plow Pose. Core work, spinal twists, and a Crescent Lunge sequence round out the practice before a well-earned Savasana. Throughout, Bryan consistently invites practitioners to self-regulate — bending knees, dropping to the floor, or skipping poses entirely — framing every posture as a tool for "touching" and caring for the body rather than performing or competing. The overall tone is mellow, philosophical, and deeply personal, with breath awareness serving as the through-line for focus and relaxation.
