About This Class
This class is anchored by a recurring invitation to cultivate incessant gratitude — Bryan Kest frames every pose and transition as an opportunity to quiet the mind, deepen the breath, and return to a benevolent mental state. The physical practice moves methodically from a seated settling and Child's Pose-style arm extension into Down Dog, then builds through a timed forearm plank sequence (with leg lifts and side planks), Dolphin, standing forward folds with three-legged variations, Warrior One, Warrior Two, Crescent Lunge, Revolved Crescent (prayer twist), Triangle, Wild Thing, low lunge hip openers, half-splits, Boat-style core work, Bridge with five-rep pulses, Shoulder Stand, Plow, supine twists, seated forward folds with half-lotus option, and finally a guided gratitude and compassion meditation leading into Savasana. Props (blocks) are offered throughout for accessibility. The instructor explicitly frames the practice as inseparable from meditation, emphasizing that calm breathing through challenge is the central skill being trained. The pacing is deliberate and hold times are generous, making this class deeply restorative for the nervous system even as it builds meaningful strength and flexibility.

Holy Guacamole!!! I did this class cold, meaning I didn’t preview it which I never do for a bk class, because you can never go wrong. Next time I want to be mentally prepared for the forearm plank sequence! I loved everything about this class, after the pretty intense beginning we flow into a medley of a favorite poses. A lot of poses! Bryan, we’re still out here doing your classes and appreciating every one. Much gratitude

Holy wow!! Maybe non vigorous but still quite challenging for me. But the long slow holds are super and I feel like my body and my mind got a respite from the chaos of the world. Thanks Bryan!
