About This Class

Immaculate Flow with Bryan Kest is a richly layered 69-minute dynamic yoga class that treats breathwork as its absolute foundation — every pose, transition, and balance is framed around filling the lungs to maximum capacity with smooth, unforced breath. The class opens on the floor in Child's Pose before moving through repeated Sun Salutation-style flows (Down Dog, Plank, Chaturanga, Cobra, Forward Fold) that gradually build heat and coordination. A substantial standing and balancing sequence follows, including Warrior/Crescent Lunge variations, Airplane Balance, Standing Figure-Four (a Pigeon-on-one-leg variant), twisted lunge, and a demanding one-legged squat balance on the tiptoes. Hip flexors, hamstrings, glutes, and the entire posterior chain are targeted through Dolphin Pose, Bow Pose, and deep lunge hip-opener sequences with elbows to the ground. A two-minute bicycle-crunch core series challenges the abdominals and obliques before the class descends into seated poses — a double-ankle cross hip stretch with Eagle-arms shoulder bind and neck stretches — then supine twists and a final Savasana. Throughout, Kest emphasizes finding a "moderate and gentle place," never forcing, and treating the practice like "waking a sleeping infant" — making the class deeply accessible while still physically comprehensive.

I did this class this morning, on the first day of our 4 weeks stay in California and it felt SO GOOD. The longer holds were challenging, but very very deep. Thank you so much Bryan and Melissa.

Whew…that one stung like a bee!:) Quite vigorous on the legs, ankles and toes as the calmness truly got lovingly challenged:). Always switching it up so we get comfortable with the not so comfortable. Feel better Melissa!
