About This Class
Bryan Kest leads a breath-centered dynamic flow that opens in child's pose and builds through several rounds of a six-movement sun salutation sequence — down dog, plank, cobra, and standing forward folds — before layering in runner's lunge, crescent lunge, warrior, triangle, twisting poses, and pigeon-style hip openers he calls "icing on the cake." The class places deep emphasis on nasal, full-capacity breathing as the primary vehicle for calm presence throughout physical challenge. Seated forward folds including half-lotus forward bend and supine spinal twists round out the movement practice. Bryan consistently encourages students to find their own personal intensity, modify or exit poses early, and resist the ego-driven urge to go further than what feels genuinely sweet. The class closes with a guided gratitude meditation in a comfortable seated position, framing mental wellness and stress reduction as the ultimate goals of the practice.

Once again another wonderful hour. I am grateful for the chance to breathe in a way that I normally forget to do. Thank you for the comments you make about wellness and gratitude. The reminder is incredibly helpful. So glad I found your classes.
