About This Class

Bryan Kest leads a high-energy, sweat-inducing dynamic flow session built around a simple but demanding structure: every pose is repeated five times — four times with one breath each, then held on the fifth rep to let the warmed-up body sink deeper. The class opens gently with deep breathing, a brief seated hip opener, and Downward Facing Dog before escalating into standing side bends, spinal twists, heart-opening backbends, and an extensive lunge sequence that layers crescent lunge, twisting lunge, and balancing variations. Floor work includes Chaturanga push-up holds, Locust-style back strengthening, Bow-inspired backbends, Dolphin, Sphinx, and a challenging core series of leg lifts and V-sit twists. The cool-down moves through Plow, Shoulder Stand, supine figure-four hip stretches, and spinal twists before arriving at a seated meditation of gratitude and compassion, and a final resting pose. Throughout, Bryan emphasizes listening to the body's sensations over going deeper for its own sake, making the class vigorous yet self-directed. The class suits anyone seeking a thorough full-body challenge that also trains the mind toward presence and mindfulness.
