About This Class

Bryan Kest leads this richly layered Sunday flow through four distinct "triangle" shapes that build progressively in challenge. The class opens gently on the back — supine knee squeezes, a reclined butterfly, and spinal twists — before moving through three cumulative standing warm-up sequences that introduce forward folds, cobra, down dog, crescent lunge, and twisting lunge. The heart of the class cycles through traditional triangle pose, airplane (Warrior III variant), one-legged balancing triangle with twists, and a floor-based supine triangle series that mirrors all the standing movements without the demands of balance. Shoulder stand and plow appear early as a brief inversion interlude. Seated wide-leg forward folds, bound angle, and boat pose variations warm the hips and hamstrings throughout. Camel pose on the knees and a reclined hero provide backbend and quad opening. The class closes with a sustained gratitude meditation in a comfortable seated position followed by Savasana with breath-awareness practice. Bryan continuously frames the physical work as a vehicle for mental training — staying calm, breathing freely, and resisting ego-driven effort — making mindfulness and stress reduction equally central to the practice.
