About This Class
Flo Motion is a fast-paced, intermediate power yoga flow designed to be layered onto an existing warm-up. Desiree Crossman guides students through two symmetrical sides of a challenging sequence that moves from Downward Facing Dog through three-legged dog variations, knee-to-tricep core drills, Crescent Lunge twists, Warrior Two, Reverse Warrior, and Extended Side Angle. The class then moves into standing balance work — Half Moon and Revolved Half Moon — before coming down for Half Splits and a gate-pose side stretch. Curtsy squat lunges and Warrior Three pulses add strength and balance challenge, while seated twists and Boat Pose target the core. A kneeling sequence builds toward Camel Pose backbend before the class settles into Child's Pose. Throughout, modifications are offered (knee down in Crescent Lunge, hands to heart in balances, half split vs. full split), and students are advised to be mindful of the knee joint in kneeling postures. The overall feel is energizing and challenging, with continuous movement and only brief holds.

I am a visiting nurse and was tired and stiff from driving, did an upper body workout and then this was awesome to open up and lube the creaky joints!
