About This Class
Fiery Dragon Flow is a long, unrelenting dynamic power yoga class that keeps students moving for roughly fifty minutes before a measured wind-down. Bryan Kest opens with an extended breathwork orientation, establishing deep nasal breathing and present-moment awareness as the non-negotiable priority above all movement and form. The standing sequence builds progressively from Down Dog through Cobra/Baby Cobra repetitions, then into a "power yoga stroll" (a walking-inspired arm-and-leg strengthening flow), crescent lunge, balancing lunge, warrior, and an ambitious balance series including standing splits, airplane pose, bent-knee balancing, and a standing leg-raise sequence. Hip mobility is addressed through wide-legged frog pose (Crog/core-muscle frog), a deep squat with shoulder-wrap twist, and runner's lunge transitions. The floor-based cool-down covers reclined twists, supported/full camel, seated forward folds, half-lotus forward fold, seated pigeon, and Savasana with a mindfulness breath-awareness game. Throughout, Bryan repeatedly frames the physical challenge as a vehicle for strengthening mental calmness, using accessible metaphors and humor. Props are not used. Modifications (knee-down, child's pose, backing off) are consistently offered, and students are encouraged to find their personal degree at every stage rather than compare or compete.

Beautiful class as always! Such an amazing strong yet gentle flow. Our daily practice together is truly the most important foundational time of my day, that really sets the tone for the rest of the day of “yoga off the mat”. Infinite love and gratitude for such a wonderful practice & to our amazing benevolent yogi community you have created.
