About This Class

Bryan Kest guides a characteristically unhurried yet comprehensive flow that opens with extended breathwork and child's pose before moving through multiple rounds of a six-movement warm-up series (standing forward fold, flat-back lift, plank, cobra, down dog). The class then layers in runners' lunges, Warrior Two, hero pose, triangle, twisting triangle, wide-legged forward fold with bound arms, side-plank variations, locust/bow, Hanumanasana (splits), half-lotus seated forward fold, a brief core hold, shoulderstand with plow prep, and a full spinal-twist savasana sequence. Throughout, Bryan weaves in his trademark "Bryan-isms" — meditative coaching on breath quality, non-aggression, finding the personal "sweet spot" between too much and not enough, and the idea that yoga is fundamentally a meditation practice housed inside physical movement. Props are not called for; all modifications are body-weight or floor-based. The class suits students who want a full-body tune-up that addresses strength, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness simultaneously, and who appreciate a teacher who prioritises quality of sensation over depth of pose.
