About This Class

Bryan Kest leads this expansive dynamic flow class titled "Enjoy the Ride," balancing challenge with mindfulness throughout. The class opens supine with deep breathing, spinal twists, bridge pose, and shoulder stand — described as the "king or queen of all yoga poses" for its reversal of gravity's effects. From there, the sequence builds through plow-like leg stretches, core work with boat-like holds, downward dog, and a rich series of standing poses including warrior, side angle, triangle, and wide-legged forward folds with lateral stretches. Push-up-style flows link standing sequences to cobra and back to down dog, keeping the body warm and connected. A deep squat (malasana) and wheel pose (or supported bridge alternatives) round out the peak work, before the class settles into supine hip openers, reclined twists, and a long, quiet savasana. Bryan consistently cues practitioners to work to their own degree, listen to their bodies, and return to a deep, free breath as the true practice — framing the physical work as moving meditation. Props and modifications are offered throughout, including forearm options, blocks, and knee-down variations.

I enjoy these live-streaming sooo much and I appreciate Bryan, Melissa, and all the yogis that help make them possible. It’s been over a week since my last class which may be why I’m feeling extra grateful. This class has a surprising twist to the sequence order that I enjoyed. Finally I’d like to see a booklist blog because I can never remember let alone spell the books Bryan mentions. Love you all!

Beautiful yinnish kind of flow, loved the wheel. Especially loved the reminder that it’s not what you do, but always how you do what you do! I have adopted that motto to remind myself to live in that space since I heard you first say in the 90’s. Eternally grateful for your pearls of wisdom always scattered throughout your yoga classes! Namaste Bryan and Melissa
