About This Class

Bryan Kest leads a thoughtfully structured flow class built around a "three versions, progressively deeper" framework, beginning with supine spinal twists and knee-to-chest releases for the lower back before moving into three rounds of Sun Salutations (A, B, and a longer C with crescent lunges, twists, and open-heart openers). The class then moves through three variations of down dog (including one-handed, three-legged, and dolphin), three forward folds (elbows clasped, hands behind back, and hands under feet), three rounds of crane/Bakasana arm balances interspersed with shoulder-opening twists, a dynamic standing sequence featuring twisting crescent lunge, revolved half moon, and grand plie/dancer-inspired balance work, three progressive backbends on the belly culminating in bow pose (Dhanurasana), wide-legged seated forward folds, and a three-part core series. Throughout, Bryan emphasizes breath as the primary tool — deep, nasal, and free — alongside gentleness, moderation, and mindful intention. The class closes with a gratitude meditation in seated and a long Savasana. Suitable for practitioners with some flow experience; modifications and rest are consistently offered.

1-2-3 WOW! Super creative and fun flow…doesn’t mean it was easy but work is where the change happens, right? Thanks for this wonderful addition to the online library.

Thank you, Bryan, I am grateful for almost daily yogic stimulations of my humility muscle.
