About This Class
Dynamic Doozie is a 66-minute power flow class led by Bryan Kest that delivers a genuinely comprehensive full-body workout through an eclectic, ever-evolving sequence. The class opens in Child's Pose and Down Dog with a strong emphasis on deep, fluid breathing as the foundation for everything that follows. From there, Bryan guides students through tabletop leg extensions, Cobra warm-ups, and Locust variations before flowing into a vigorous standing and balancing series — including Crescent Lunge, Warrior variations, Twisting Triangle, prayer twists, half-lotus standing folds (Ardha Baddha Padmasana Paschimottanasana), and Airplane balance. Arm-balance work features tripod headstand prep with knees on triceps, and there's an optional full headstand for those with wall access. Core work is addressed through a sustained supine sequence with leg lowers, scissor-style holds, and a full-body stretch. The class closes with reclining spinal twists and Savasana with guided meditation and gratitude practice. Throughout, Bryan consistently coaches students to work to their own degree, back off before straining, and treat breath quality as the ultimate measure of effort — making the class both physically demanding and deeply mindful.
