About This Class

This 32-minute lying-down relaxation is structured as a seamless journey from conscious release to deep sleep. Eric opens with slow diaphragmatic breathing and gravity-surrender cues, then leads a progressive muscle tensing-and-releasing sequence covering the fists and arms, shoulders, forehead, legs, and finally the entire body. A thorough yoga-nidra-style body scan follows, methodically moving awareness through every finger, toe, joint, organ, and facial feature to coax the nervous system into profound stillness. The second half shifts to breath-anchor meditation — silently repeating "in" and "out" — before dissolving language into a vivid ocean-wave visualization where breath and wave rhythm merge. A countdown from 27 to 1 on each exhale acts as a gentle anchor that releases the mind into sleep. No movement, no props, no standing — just complete surrender to gravity. Ideal for anyone struggling with sleep, stress, anxiety, or an overactive mind at bedtime.

counting to 27 is long and achievable – thank you Eric for bringing attention to listening to the sounds then relaxing the ear, outer ear, inner ear, so wonderful. can you add the muscles of the seat next time? so relaxing
