About This Class

Chakra Wash Flow is an immersive, full-body practice structured as a deliberate ascent through all seven chakras—Muladhara to Sahasrara—using breath, bandha, and asana as the vehicle. The class opens seated with Nadi Shodhana pranayama and extended guided meditation to establish grounding and intentionality (Sankopa). From there it builds through multiple rounds of Surya Namaskar A and B, threading in standing balance work (Vrksasana, Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana, Standing Split), Warrior sequences (Virabhadrasana I and II), Parsvakonasana, twists (Parivrtta Parsvakonasana), and Vasisthasana side plank. The mid-class floor sequence includes Ustrasana (camel) to open the heart, a supported inversion progression (Salamba Sirsasana / headstand prep and Shoulderstand / Viparita Karani), Karna Pindasana, and a finishing backbend (Setu Bandha / Urdhva Dhanurasana for those with the background). The class closes with deep forward folds—Paschimottanasana, Upavista Konasana, Baddha Konasana—and Navasana core work before Savasana. Throughout, Ujjayi breath, Mula Bandha, and Uddiyana Bandha are woven into every pose. The instructor frames each pose through a chakra lens, connecting physical effort to emotional release, self-love, intuition, and spiritual connection, making this class equally suited to practitioners seeking inner transformation as to those wanting a thorough, sweaty full-body flow.
