About This Class

This approachable flow class is framed around the theme of purification — releasing physical tension, emotional stickiness, and anything that no longer serves. The class opens with five rounds of Om chanting and mindful breathwork before moving into supine hamstring stretches and spinal twists. From there, the practice builds through Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar A), Revolving Triangle, Crescent Lunge twists, Revolved Half Moon, and Fallen Triangle, weaving Vinyasa transitions throughout. A grounding floor sequence follows, offering Side Crow as an optional arm balance alongside an accessible seated spinal twist alternative. The class closes with Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle), Upavistha Konasana (Wide-Legged Forward Fold), Camel Pose, and a restorative supine Baddha Konasana with bolster support and block modifications, before a long Savasana with a gratitude meditation. Throughout, the instructor emphasizes listening to the body, drawing the navel in (Uddiyana Bandha) for spinal protection, and finding internal purity through breath and release.

I am absolutely stoked to have discovered this class. I’ve been enjoying in person yoga classes and trying to support myself through a stressful time. While the studio classes in person locally have been great -they lack diversity, and seem rushed – I LOVED the pace of this class, allowing me to fully use my breaths to release negative thoughts. I LOVED the voice and melodic tone of the instruction. The flow is natural, heart opening, strenghth building and yet gentle for all levels with variations. I enjoyed playing with side crow – but warning if you have not done it in a while, have a pillow or blanket nearby, I was so relaxed and did it then fell smack on my head – no wories. Great Q’ing too! TY – I will do this at least once a week as a restorative , mindful flow!!!!!
