About This Class

Bryan Kest guides a full-body flow rooted in continuous deep, free breathing used as both a meditative anchor and a built-in intensity regulator. The class opens in child's pose to establish breath awareness, then builds through repeated sun-salutation-style sequences (downward dog, cobra, plank, standing forward fold) before moving into a substantial standing balance series: airplane pose, twisted balancing, figure-four/tree-like hip openers, crescent lunge, and an arm-balance prep with the knee resting on the tricep. Hip flexor and hamstring work is woven in through low lunge and lizard-style poses with optional ankle/foot grabs, and the floor sequence closes with supine twists and a wide-legged seated forward fold. The class ends with a seated and then supine gratitude meditation (savasana), where Bryan explicitly frames mental wellness and gratitude as the culmination of the physical effort. Throughout, Bryan emphasises moderation over depth, bilateral asymmetry as normal, and the option to rest or modify at any moment — making this suitable for a wide range of levels despite its dynamic structure.
