About This Class
Bryan Kest leads this full-body vigorous flow — titled "Airpain" — with a philosophy of intelligent, sensation-led movement rather than destination-driven pushing. The class opens in child's pose with a breath-focused mini-meditation, then builds methodically through down dog, cobra, and plank into two progressively layered sun salutation sequences that introduce chair pose, crescent lunge, and standing forward folds. The middle section features an extensive single-leg standing series on each side — including three-legged dog, knee-to-elbow core transitions, side plank variations, half moon (Ardha Chandrasana), twisting triangle, and the eponymous "Airpain" pose (a full-extension balance with both arms reaching long). A seated and supine floor sequence follows, incorporating reverse tabletop hip lifts, leg-raise core work, seated twists, and a deep squat with a bound shoulder opener. The class closes with supine spinal twists and Savasana. Throughout, Bryan consistently coaches students to take breaks, modify, and prioritize calm breathing over pose depth — making the session accessible despite its vigorous overall intensity.

Loved this flow! Mostly standing series, with Sun A & B, cryangle, crunge, and airpain.

I was slow to start today. Knowing I only need to do what my body tells me, I go into that first down dog and think, man this feels good. Then I’m lifting a leg and that feels good. Now I’m heading off my mat feeling good all over. Thank you Bryan for your encouragement.

Mucho gratitudo to you! This was a lively, heart pumping class. I found out I really needed some hero & triangle pose, so I’m very appreciative of the focus on those areas.
