About This Class
This class opens on the back with wide-legged Savasana, Ujjayi breathwork, and lateral body stretches before moving into core work with leg lowers and scissor holds. From there, Byron builds through a yogi squat, standing forward fold, low lunge side bends, and a bear/skier pose series. The flow progresses into plank, side plank, Chaturanga, and Down Dog, then weaves through Crescent Pose, Warrior Three, Chair, and a standing figure-four hip opener on each side. A deeper standing sequence introduces Side Angle with a head-cup leverage technique, Reverse Warrior, Reverse Triangle, Triangle, and Half Moon on both sides, followed by a held half-splits stretch. The floor sequence closes with tabletop bow variations, cobra, child's pose with lateral reaches, Baddha Konasana, and a seated forward fold before a guided Savasana with breathwork and intention. Throughout, Byron emphasizes breath quality, ego-free practice, mindfulness, and the mind-body connection, making the class as mentally engaging as it is physically challenging.
