About This Class

This class opens prone on the floor with a breathing visualization and Sphinx Pose before building warmth through forearm plank, Child's Pose, and a distinctive down-dog-to-look-forward transition. The standing portion layers high squats, low goddess-style squats, Warrior Two, Reverse Warrior, Triangle, and Side Angle with a signature "tap it and go" flow, then deepens into runner's lunges with an under-the-leg arm variation, crescent twists, and an optional arm balance. Eagle Pose and Yogi Squat close the standing work. The floor sequence finishes with Bound Angle (Baddha Konasana), seated forward folds, Bridge Pose, a reclined figure-four, and bilateral supine twists before Savasana. Throughout, Byron frames the practice around giving the body time to warm up before stretching, using breath as the primary guide and incorporating two rounds of chanting Om for a grounding, mindful close.
