About This Class
This dynamic flow class delivers on its promise of "a little bit of everything" — structured around three interwoven threads: shoulder opening, hip opening, and core activation. The class begins supine with gentle pelvic rocking, knee circles, and block-assisted oblique work before moving into tabletop for bird-dog variations, a half-dolphin stretch, and eagle arms. A standing sequence builds through chair pose twists, side bends, and crescent lunge variations with a novel hip-engagement cue (pressing the back foot down to fire the glutes and hamstrings). Standing poses include twisting triangle and an IT-band/outer-hip stretch in a side-plank-adjacent position. Pigeon pose is explored in multiple progressive phases — upright with sitting-bone cues, a gentle spinal twist, a full forward fold for rest, and an optional quad-stretch backbend — before moving into half-splits and wide-leg straddle transitions. The class closes with Gomukhasana (cow-face pose) with optional eagle arms and forward fold, a supported bridge over a block with hip-flexor release work, and an extended Savasana. Throughout, Steve consistently returns to breath awareness, softening the face and jaw, and finding ease within effort — making this class as mindful as it is physically varied.

Such a fantastic strength and stretch for the entire body. Steve will take you through a slow, challenging, meditative, sensual sequence. You will be sad when class ends
