About This Class

This class opens in child's pose with a grounding breathwork orientation before building through three progressively richer sun-salutation-style flows — each adding movements like chair pose (utkatasana), crescent lunge, and twisting lunge variations. Standing sequences explore single-leg balance (airplane/warrior III-style), bound and open-hip standing poses, arm balances (crow-entry drills), and deep hip-opener lunge variations with optional binds. The floor section visits locust/shalabhasana variations, bow pose (dhanurasana), happy baby, wide-leg supine stretches, and a dynamic core series, finishing with supine twists and an extended savasana meditation on breath awareness. Throughout, Bryan consistently cues moderation, personal degree, and breath as the anchor — framing the practice as a "healing tonic" for body and mind, and explicitly connecting deep breathing to stress reduction and mental quieting. The class suits practitioners who sit a lot, feel tight in the hips and hamstrings, carry stress or tension, or simply want a well-rounded, mindful flow that touches strength, flexibility, balance, and relaxation in equal measure.

Sweet, sweet release. A bit tough at times, but worth it for that feeling of bliss in the end!

Wonderful, Bryan and Melissa, thank you. When you, Bryan, refer to the Integrity of the Web, I frequently am reminded of Buckminster Fuller, his Tensegrity, and its amazing principles.
