About This Class

Bryan Kest leads a full-body, 72-minute dynamic flow that begins gently in child's pose and downward facing dog before building through progressively richer sun-salutation sequences. The class layers in crescent lunges, warrior twists (revolved crescent), standing balance sequences (warrior III / airplane, Bruce Lee karate-chop balance, figure-four standing balance, and psoas-strengthening single-leg extension), locust variations with interlaced hands, and push-up cycles. Floor work includes supine hamstring stretches, seated forward folds with figure-four hip openers, plow / half-plow, shoulder stand, a fish-like chest opener with leg lowering, supine twists, and a final savasana. Throughout, Bryan frames the practice around the "most important muscle" — the ability to focus — using the breath as the meditation object. He speaks candidly about his own titanium spinal discs and credits spinal-strengthening backbends for managing his chronic back issues. The tone is warm, humorous, and deeply encouraging, welcoming all levels to modify or exit early as needed. The class is well-suited for those dealing with general stiffness, tight hips and hamstrings, a sluggish digestive system, desk-related posture issues, or a need to decompress on a Monday morning.

A nice little change of venue. Love the pace as I leisure my way through practice, keeping my breath. Thank you for another goodie.

Soft, relieving, long, light yet obtuse, rich & flavourful, looming, smooth yet rocky, laborious ? and enlightening ? : A GOOD POOP. A great poop…
