About This Class

This festive flow class opens in child's pose with an invitation to cultivate gratitude, then builds steadily through repeated sun-salutation-style rounds — down dog, plank, cobra — before moving into a rich standing sequence featuring warrior two, warrior one, triangle, and twisting triangle on both sides. The class then transitions to seated and supine work: a wide-legged forward fold, a Navasana-inspired leg-lowering core sequence, bridge, full wheel (with a progressive head-to-the-floor preparation option), figure-four hip stretches, and supine twists, before closing in savasana. Throughout, Bryan emphasises breath depth and freedom as the primary metric for effort, repeatedly coaching students to find a "sweet spot" rather than push to extremes, and weaving in mindfulness philosophy around staying present, quieting habitual thought, and practising calm amid challenge. Props are occasionally referenced (a block for the lateral lunge variation), and modifications are offered for every major shape.
