About This Class

This energetic yet approachable 30-minute class is built almost entirely around spinal twists, layered progressively from the floor up to standing and back down again. Rudy opens with supine knee-drop twists and a hip-crossing variation to release the low back, then moves into Downward Dog and a flowing sequence of Crescent Lunge twists, Side Angle, Revolving Warrior, and Twisting Triangle. A playful standing-balance sequence—Standing Split into a knee-hug stand with a twist—builds eccentric leg strength and proprioception. The class revisits Parsvottanasana-based twists and arm-wrap binds before landing in seated cross-legged twists with cervical neck rotation, a seated forward fold, and a supine oblique crunch-twist before Savasana. Throughout, Rudy cues the belly to stay firm while the back muscles soften, encourages students to "breathe into their limitations," and frames each twist as wringing accumulated tension out of the body. Props are not required, and the pace is brisk but accessible, with Vinyasas connecting most standing sequences.

Delicious twists!! If you feel tight, sat too long, need to give your back a break – this is perfect. Thank you Rudy!

Great class! But definitely quick. If you feel you want a class where you can hold the poses longer go with a longer class. This one was great for fitting in a good amount of twists and vinyasas in a short amount of time. Thanks Rudy!
