About This Class
Bryan Kest leads this thoughtful, breath-centered flow that balances physical depth with a grounding philosophical thread. Beginning seated with intentional breathwork, the class builds through repeated rounds of Down Dog, Forward Folds, Cobra, and Dolphin before moving into a standing sequence featuring Chair Pose, side stretches, Crescent Lunge, Hero Pose (Warrior II-adjacent), Extended Side Angle, and a bound twist with quad stretch. The floor sequence includes lizard-style hip openers with the option to bring elbows down, pigeon-like poses, Shoulder Stand, Plow, Fish Pose, and supine twists, closing in a long, open Savasana. Throughout, Bryan consistently invites students to listen to their bodies, work within their personal range, and treat the breath as the true measure of effort — never forcing, always honoring sensation. The class is framed as restorative in spirit even while being physically demanding, making it accessible to students dealing with varying energy levels, minor injuries, or the accumulated tension of daily life.

What a wonderful strengthening and stretching practice for the body AND the mind. Ty! Ty! Feels like I just had the best self stretching massage. Added to my favorites.

My new favorite! Love the wowser hip openers, the stretches, the strong upper body work and the pace – which added a little and needed focus challenge for me!

Exactly what I needed today. I love the leisure pace. I need all the stretching, especially the hip openers, and I love the plow/shoulder stand. Thank you

The synchronicity of this class is beautifully amazing as the focus was gentleness and non attachment as we deal with the destruction due to wildfires here in the Smokies. Grateful that so far lives have been spared, but still a huge lesson in non attachment. Prayers for continued healing Melissa !
