About This Class
Bryan Kest guides this dynamic 71-minute flow with the metaphor of a "stroll uphill" — beginning with child's pose and downward-facing dog to establish breath and presence, then progressively building heat through cobra repetitions, locust pose, and plank-to-chin sequences. The class moves through standing side stretches, warrior-family shapes, extended triangle, and a detailed twisted lunge before exploring two-legged balancing in a warrior-III-inspired pose. Hip flexors and groins receive deep attention via extended pigeon pose on both sides, each approached with a strong emphasis on gentleness and finding a personal "sweet spot." A sustained bicycle-crunch core sequence forms the athletic centrepiece of the second half. The practice closes with supine twists, a final knee-squeeze, and a long savasana. Throughout, Bryan returns repeatedly to breath synchronisation with movement, the philosophy of intimacy with sensation over ego-driven depth, and the healing power of relaxation — framing the entire class as a meditative, needs-based movement practice rather than a performance.

That one was delicious!! I loved all the arm strengthening and arm balancing poses, the crunges and criangles were crunchy, and that last core sequence was bitter but sweet. Loved that yoga buffet!:)

An amazing class. I love those pigeons. Love the pace. Love Bryan’s explanation of poses. I seldom look at the screen, except the time he was carrying the white poodle, lol. I do most the practice with my eyes closed. Thank you Bryan for these opportunities.

I look forward to these “past livestreams” everyday when I get home from work. I like that they are posted the same day so they feel current. Thank you! I loved what Bryan said at the end about the world needing more gentleness and reducing the shadow of violence.

My Mental Health has changed so much since I am back every day. I am so full of gratitude! It’s getting a bit easier living in Georgia. My heart belongs to Santa Monica forever. Thank you Bryan & Melissa. Have a beautiful day.
