About This Class

Simply Divine with Bryan Kest is a richly layered 70-minute dynamic flow class that treats the physical practice as a "meditation in motion." The class opens supine with bridge pose variations and shoulder stand (sarvangasana), then moves into a wide-legged seated forward fold and single-leg forward folds before transitioning to standing through Down Dog. A fluid sun-salutation-style sequence (plank, cobra, Down Dog) is repeated several times with an emphasis on breath synchronization and sensuous, intentional movement. The standing sequence includes deep hip-opening work in low lunge, twisting lunge (Grandma twist), side-plank variations, runner's lunge, crescent lunge, balancing poses (airplane, bent-knee balancing, Bruce Lee Asana / standing leg extension), and lizard-style elbow-to-floor hip openers. The floor sequence closes with reclined butterfly/hero variations, spinal twists, and an extended seated gratitude meditation before Savasana. Throughout, Bryan consistently de-emphasizes depth in favor of quality, breath awareness, and self-inquiry — making this class as much a mindfulness practice as a physical one. Props such as blocks are mentioned and encouraged for modification.

so good – I loved this class. For many reasons, among them that it started in bridge/shoulder stand/plough, and then seated straddle stretching before doing a single sun salutation (sun salutations are never my favorite) and I was especially grateful for the standing/balancing poses, including brucelee-asana, as well as the lizard & pigeons for my hips. I feel *much* better than I did 70+ minutes ago, thank you!

A really lovely practice. A different sort of beginning, and an effective stroll through the whole body. Ending with a meditation and sweet śvasana, this is definitely a favorite, simply divine class.

Sweet relaxing beginning, but balanced with some tangy arm and leg strengthening and even lots of opportunity for stretching it all out. …. Mil gracias!!

These gems are as easy or as hard as we make them, as good or as bad, as deep or as superficial; best to make it a great one! Thank you dearly Bryan and Team PY <3 Matthew in Amityville Long Island NY
