About This Class

Bryan Kest leads this energizing yet mindful flow that opens in Child's Pose with an emphasis on deep, fluid breathing as the non-negotiable foundation of practice. The class builds progressively through repeated Down Dog–Plank–Up Dog transitions, knee-to-elbow core work, and three-legged dog variations before landing in standing sequences that layer Crescent Lunge, twisting prayer lunges, Warrior Two (Hero Pose), Extended Side Angle, Triangle-style reaches, and deep low-lunge hip openers. A signature feature is the unhurried exploration of Hanumanasana (vertical splits / split-leg forward fold) on both sides, complemented by a seated wide-leg forward fold. The second half shifts from pure strength into long-held stretching of the quads, hip flexors, groin, and hamstrings, including a supine quad stretch and a kneeling backbend sequence. The class closes with two minutes of rhythmic supine bicycle crunches, supine twists as counter-poses, and an extended seated gratitude meditation flowing into Savasana. Throughout, Bryan frames the breath as the primary tool, the movement as awakening, warming, strengthening, and mobilizing, and the final stillness as active inner work.
