About This Class
This dynamic flow class places breath at the absolute center of every movement — the instructor repeatedly reminds students that the breath is more important than the pose, and to abandon any shape that compromises it. Starting in mountain pose with intensely active feet, the class builds through sun-salutation-style vinyasas featuring high plank, cobra, and down dog, then moves into standing balance work: crescent lunge with a torso twist, airplane pose, and twisted half moon. Core strength is developed throughout — knee-to-forehead draws, boat and low boat pose, and side plank (Vasisthasana) on both sides. The floor sequence closes with wide-legged seated forward fold with lateral side stretches, bound angle balance (navasana variation with legs extending), bridge pose with an optional full wheel, and supine twists before a long, contemplative Savasana. The instructor's cueing is poetic and mindful, consistently linking breath to muscular engagement, making this class as much a meditation on pranayama as a physical practice.
