About This Class
Travis Eliot leads a long, energetically rich flow class structured around progressive warm-up series that systematically introduce standing poses: Sunbird, Warrior One, Warrior Two, Warrior Three / Airplane, Triangle, Half Moon, Revolving Warrior, Chair Pose, and twists, along with a playful "yoga archery" pulsation sequence. Each standing series is linked by Vinyasa transitions (Plank, Chaturanga, Cobra/Up Dog, Down Dog) and punctuated by Breath of Fire in Chair Pose to stoke internal heat. The instructor weaves Ujjayi breath coaching, Drishti focus, and philosophical teachings on dharma, detachment, and the inner guru throughout. The second half of class descends to the floor with core leg lifts, bicycle crunches, Double Seated Pigeon, Happy Baby, Plow, and Shoulder Stand before landing in reclining spinal twists and a long Savasana. Props are not called for. The overall arc moves from meditative opening through peak intensity and back down to stillness, serving practitioners who want a comprehensive, strength-and-flexibility-building practice that also addresses tight hips, hamstrings, and a busy mind.

They don’t make power yoga classes like these anymore! Excellent practice.

All the classes on this website are excellent, but this one somehow stood out. Loved the creative riffs on the warmup sequences, the dynamic poses, the breathing exercises, the pacing…wonderful. Thank you, Travis!
