About This Class
This expansive Sunday-morning flow with Bryan Kest is equal parts physical practice and inner journey. The class opens on the floor with supine hip and spinal releases, moves through shoulder stand and plow, then transitions into wide-legged forward folds before building into a repeating vinyasa sequence of down dog, plank, cobra, and standing flows. The standing section layers crescent lunge, warrior variations, triangle, twisting lunges, side-angle pose with a bind, and balancing one-legged work, systematically warming the lower body, hips, hamstrings, glutes, and spine while building upper-body strength through progressive push-up-style transitions. Back-body activation is woven throughout with locust variations, bow pose, and cobra holds. The class closes with supine hip-opener sequences (figure-four stretches), spinal twists, a gentle core sequence, and an extended Savasana guided through a gratitude meditation. Bryan consistently frames the practice as an act of self-care rather than achievement, encouraging students to treat every cue as a suggestion, stay on the side of gentleness, and release expectations—embodying the class title "No Expectations No Frustrations."
