About This Class
Travis Eliot leads this expansive dynamic flow through the lens of the Prana Vayus — the five winds of vitality (inward, outward, upward, downward, and circular) — and the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, ether). The class opens in Child's Pose with breathwork and an Om chant before building momentum through multiple rounds of Sun Salutation variations with Cobra, Chaturanga, and Up Dog. Standing sequences include Warrior One (Crescent), Warrior Two, Warrior Three (Airplane), Triangle, Half Moon (including a bound variation), Chair Pose, and Chair Twist, with intentional hip and shoulder alignment cues throughout. A unique "Wheel of Vitality" sequence in Horse Stance fuses Tai Chi-inspired circular arm movements with the Prana Vayus concept. Backbend work includes Locust/Salabhasana, Bow Pose, and twisting Cobra. Hip-opening highlights are Pigeon Pose on both sides with a Wild Thing/Flip Dog transition. The floor sequence features Shoulder Stand, Plow, Happy Baby, reclining spinal twists, and core work (scissors/leg lowers with chakra context tied to Manipura). The class closes with Paschimottanasana, Savasana, and a final seated Om meditation, emphasizing surrender, mental steadiness, and gratitude throughout.

A solid, invigorating flow! I liked the binded half moon.
