About This Class

Bryan Kest leads a "modest" but comprehensive dynamic flow structured around repeating sequences performed five times with a held final round — building heat methodically without feeling extreme. The class opens in Child's Pose with a detailed breathwork orientation (nasal, deep, smooth breathing), then moves through Down Dog, Cobra, and Plank transitions before progressing into standing lunges, Warrior One, Warrior Two, and a side-angle variation on each side. Floor work includes prone back-strengthening lifts (locust variations), Bow Pose, a gentle Plow and Shoulderstand sequence, seated Baddha Konasana, a bridge/table-top series, seated leg lifts, and a seated forward fold. The supine closing features hip-opener figure-four stretches, a supine twist, and an inversion. Throughout, Bryan emphasises breath as the primary tool for calming the nervous system, staying present, and transforming a workout into something healing. The class finishes with a five-minute compassion meditation and a full Savasana rest.

Strong yet simple, with a nice combination of upper and lower body strengthening sequences; closing out with some good core touches, and a really effective deep stretching sequence on the floor. Complete with shoulder stand and plow, and a meditation on compassion, this class touches just about everything. Thank you, Bryan!
